Luna is such a sweet and kind mare. She loves attention and follows us everywhere. Kari purchased Luna when she was only a week old, and first showed her at 3 1/2 months in Alberta, Canada, at the annual GVHS show. Luna attended the Horsemanship School in spring of 2017 in Amery, Wisconsin. She has done a handful of shows, showing in Halter classes, and has GVHS points in Halter and In-Hand Trail. Luna was awarded 7th place in the 2017 GVHS Vanner Advantage program.

Luna is rather unique for a silver black, being so light in summer that she looks like a dark palomino, and in winter she looks like a dapple grey.

​

Luna gave us her first foal by SD Gold Top in 2021, and what a special boy he is! A silver dapple with a blanket! She was left open for 2022, and was bred back to SD Gold Top for a 2023 foal
